  1. What will entry tickets cost for the 2008 Games?
Official ticket prices for the 2008 Games haven't yet been published. The table on your right has samples of some of the ticket prices from the 2004 Games for your reference. According to Beijing officials, most of the sports tickets for the Beijing Summer Games will be less than $100 per ticket, which is much lower in comparing to the Athens Games (Note: this is a great news for our 2008 sports fans). However, some of the opening and closing seats are significantly higher.

Based upon the study conducted by our Beijing office, there will be about 1,500,000 domestic travelers and 750,000 overseas travelers during the month of August, 2008. An exciting news item was announced on Sunday, April 16, 2006: Famous Chinese Filmmaker, Zhang Yimou and Hollywood Director, Steven Spielberg, will join forces to direct some of the cultural events which will make each day of the Beijing Summer Games memorable. Because of the popularity of the Beijing Games, it would be beneficial for you to submit and confirm your registration today. As the full service provider for the 2008 Summer Games, we will serve our registers one at a time at the first-come, first-served basis.

  5. What will be my cost for a trip to China during the Summer Games?
The overall cost of a trip for that period will be significantly higher than today's prices. However, the cost will be worth it because you will be able to enjoy more exciting sporting and Chinese Cultural events. Culture from all areas of China will be represented in one place during such a short period of time that it would take a lifetime to see so much under normal circumstances. Of course, the actual cost of your trip depends on the duration of the trip, hotel level, room sharing, and whether you fly first, business, or coach class, etc. After putting down your deposit for your registration, our experienced travel agents will work with you to meet your needs.

  6. What will the cost of the hotel accommodations run during the Games?
By August 2008, overall hotel prices will be significant higher than today's prices. We expect the prices to be:
A partner hotel presented us with a 360-degree view of Beijing 3-Star runs between $250 - 350 per night with double occupancy
4-Star runs between $400 - 550 per night with double occupancy
5-Star runs between $600 - up per night with double occupancy
Note: We recommend all our registers use 3, 4, or 5 Star Hotels (Photo on the right -- A partner hotel presented us with a 360-degree view of Beijing).

  7. What will international airline fares run?
First of all, it will depend on what airport that you fly out of, but in general the fares for coach class by that time will probably run somewhere between $1,750 - 2,750 round trip per passenger. *Children of age 12 or under will receive discounted prices.

  15. What will be the travel conditions in Beijing at time?
Most of those Game days are expected to be sunny with temperature between 75 to 90 Fahrenheit. China's meteorological forecasters are working on a way to check the weather every hour on every major intersection of the city during the period. They have developed an advanced infrastructure for forecasting weather.

"Greenery" will be planted all over Beijing to improve the air quality. Officials have added more staff to monitor the air quality and outlined plans to ensure that restaurants and food stalls are up to International standards. They have also added health inspectors to insure that everything will be clean and safe.

During the month of August, 2008, Beijing will be under stricter traffic controls to ensure traffic is in order. Unauthorized vehicles will be prohibited to travel on some streets and/or certain lanes during the busy hours. At least 20,000 police officers will maintain security during the event.

To make Beijing even more hospitable to visitors, the city government will add more subway stations and rearrange bus lines to transport travelers efficiently. The improved transportation system will make it easier for people to visit famous Beijing historical sites and popular attractions. The planning committee has even decided to allow public input on the plan in order guarantee the best possible outcome.

  16. Will I be safe?
Security experts from around the world are working with Beijing organizers to ensure that every traveler is safe. Experts are installing security measures to protect visitors from everything from pretty crimes to terrorist acts. These improvements include an overhaul of the police force as well.
