This impressive Junior Lightweight is coming off the biggest year of his young career in 2004 by winning five consecutive fights. In July, Antonio won the most significant fight of his career by capturing the USBA Regional Title with a sixth round TKO over Bradley Verdin. This title fight was televised nationally into 40 million homes by Comcast Cable, Fox Network, Sunshine Network, Madison Square Garden Network, and the Empire Network. In January of 2005, Antonio won the NABO Junior Lightweight Championship over Donnell Logan with seventh round TKO. Consequently, Antonio is ranked in the top 7 Junior Lightweight in the world.

The Junior Lightweight Division has traditionally produced some of the largest purses in the sport due to the marquee names who fought in this division (Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Erik Morales).
