is an efficient way of displaying an object in 3D. The tool is written as a Java applet. It supports an interface where a mouse drag will rotate the object in 360 degrees. The software supports up to three axes of rotation. In the following example of a UMAX Scanner, two axes of rotation are possible (see samples below):

Net3D Movie technology makes the playing of unlimited length of video and audio clips possible over the Internet. is an online 3D world displaying and manipulating software. It is packaged in both the Microsoft ActiveX object form and the Netscape plug-in form. Once downloaded, it self-registers and is ready for browsing 3D worlds over the Internet. Currently, Net3D player runs under Windows NT and Windows 95/98, and reads the VRML format.

The features in Net3D Player include rotating and panning the 3D scene, Walk and Exam, animation, zoom in and zoom out, continuous rotation around six different axes, reset to original viewpoint, and background color and image setting. All the controls are button-less, carried out through intuitive mouse interactions within the display window. The Net3D Player ActiveX and plug-in is compact and easy to use(see samples below):
